SamiRooh (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates samirooh.com, an online store for hand-finished Chikankari and ethnic wear for women. For privacy questions, email contact@samirooh.com.

• Account & checkout: name, email, phone number, shipping address, and PIN code when you place an order or sign in.
• Orders & payments: order details, items purchased, and payment status. Card and UPI details are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay); we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Support & forms: messages you send via contact, feedback, or email.
• Wishlist & cart: products you save or add, stored in your browser and, when signed in, linked to your account where applicable.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, and pages visited — used for security, analytics, and site performance.

How we use your information

• Process and deliver your orders, including courier coordination and order updates.
• Send transactional emails (order confirmation, shipping notifications) and respond to support requests.
• Authenticate your account via secure sign-in links.
• Improve our website, products, sizing information, and customer experience.
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access.
• Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing.

• Couriers — name, phone, and address shared only to deliver your parcel.

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data we share with them.

Data retention

We keep order and account records as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle returns, meet tax and legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Marketing or analytics data may be retained in aggregated or anonymised form.

Your rights & choices

You may:

• Access or update your account details by signing in at My account.
• Request correction or deletion of personal data by emailing contact@samirooh.com (we may retain information required by law).
• Opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link when we send them.
• Sign out and clear browser storage to remove locally saved cart or wishlist data.

If you are in India, you may also have rights under applicable data protection rules, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where it applies to our processing.

Children

Our site is intended for adults placing orders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without appropriate consent. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided data without permission.
